My working day
On weekdays my working day begins early in the morning. I am an early-riser. I get up at six o’clock. I do my morning exercises, clean my teeth, wash and dress. At a quarter past seven I have my breakfast, listen to the radio or TV news and then go to school. My school is in 15 minutes’ walk.
At school our classes start at 8 o’clock a. m. and last till 2 o’clock p. m. At 8 the bell rings, the teacher comes in and the lesson begins. Each lesson lasts for 45 minutes. After each lesson we have a break or interval. During breaks we have a rest, discuss latest news. After the third and fourth lessons we have a longer break to have meals Normally we have six lessons a day. The lessons are usually over at 13.35. If I have no activities after lessons I go home. At home I have dinner, a short rest and then start doing my home assignments. As a rule it takes me about three or four hours to cope with them properly. Very often I play with my younger brother. Sometimes I do our shopping and help my mum to do chores. Three times a week I go to the chess club where I play chess for two or three hours. Once or twice a week I have private English lessons to improve my spoken English. I go to the library very often. I like to work there. When I have free time, my friends and I go to the sports ground to play football or basketball. If an interesting programme is on I watch TV. Very seldom, probably once a month, on weekdays I go to the theatres, museums.
After having supper I tell everybody «Good night», wish good dreams and at 11 o’clock I go to bed.
